Retell the Nativity in a creative way. Hmm. Could be dangerous…

I have just received this….

Dear Head of Department,

Do you want to encourage creativity amongst your students?

If so, the Nativity Factor offers a great way to encourage budding film-makers to express themselves.

It is a new short film competition from ITN Productions and the Sainsbury Trust, the goal of which is to re-tell the story of the Nativity in the most creative way possible, with the winning person or team taking home a prize of up to £5,000 (£5,000 for over-16’s, and £1,000 for under-16’s). If you think your students would be interested in participating (or if you would like to participate as a school/class project), we have created a poster (click here to download) that you can put up on a noticeboard or in a hallway in your school/college. If you would like to find out more about the competition, as well as to read our terms and conditions, please visit our official site at http://www.thenativityfactor.com.

I am also personally very happy to answer any questions you might have about the competition, so please feel free to contact me by email at randall.helms@itn.co.uk if you do have any questions.

Best regards,

Randall Helms

Communities Manager

So – retell the story of the nativity in a creative way…. bear in mind it is for ITN productions, who do both the ITV and Ch4 news, so you may be able to get away with a certain level of bad taste…
