Encounters 0117 hour challenge film competition

The Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival’s 0117 Hour Digital Short Challenge has returned for its third edition, an exciting and inspiring competition for students and professionals alike.

The 0117 Hour Digital Short Challenge invites filmmakers, animators, visual and sound artists from across the land to make digital shorts in just 117 hours, focused on the theme of ‘Journeys’ and exploring Bristol Temple Quarter. The Challenge takes place in Bristol from 13–19 April, culminating in an award ceremony where the winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of £1,000.

The festival’s Call for Entries is now also open. Works completed in 2012 must be submitted by the early deadline of 29 March 2013.
