You have an Induction assignment – pick a poem, and generate imagery for it (Stills, video etc) to make a video for it. This will introduce you to the main technology we are using.

So, why all the the the theory? Well, this being a degree we need to reflect on what we are doing. You need to analyse what you are creating and how it will be received by the audience. There are lots of ways of looking at this process.

So, I am asking you to read about Post-modernism, focussing on Intertextuality. So, two theories to figure out, and lots of theorists to read about. Here is a brief beginners guide to Intertextuality…
